Lesley Hayes

Lesley has over 20 years wealth of experience in criminal law.

Lesley joined Wainwright & Cummins at the beginning of 2018, After graduating from university in Liverpool, Lesley headed north to Newcastle upon Tyne, where her legal, professional training was sponsored by the Magistrates' Court Service. For the next 10 years, Lesley worked as a legal adviser to magistrates, which provided her with a depth of knowledge and array of skills that have proved invaluable in private practice.

Following her relocation to London, Lesley moved into private practice as a freelance solicitor, conducting all types of proceedings in the Magistrates Courts, earning an excellent reputation as an advocate in and around west and central London, not least due to her outstanding record of obtaining bail for clients who have been put before the court in custody.

Lesley is a duty qualified solicitor who is very client-focussed, and for whom client care is an absolute priority. She has vast experience of dealing with the whole range of criminal offences, and all aspects of magisterial law; she also works as a Crown Court litigator.
