Christina joined the firm in August 2010.
Christina initially joined the prison law team undertaking ROTL, HDC and re-categorisation applications as well as parole hearings and adjudications.
Now contributing to the family department, Christina has taken a particular interest in domestic violence and harassment matters, regularly attending county courts on ex parte non-molestation hearings.
Christina is particularly interested in representing those from the Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities, who have been involved in family law disputes or have had contact with the criminal justice system.
Prior to joining, Christina worked for a leading criminal defence firm as a Police Station representative building up considerable experience of police station procedure. Christina also assisted with Magistrates and Crown Court cases as well as CCRC applications, appeals and Coroner’s Inquests. Before this, she worked as a freelance legal journalist and interpreter.
Having graduated from the University of London with a Masters in Law in 2005, Christina gained her LLB in English Law and Spanish Law at the University of Kent at Canterbury which included a Diploma en Derecho Español from La Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Christina is a member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers.
