William Pope

Criminal Department

William Pope is a consultant duty solicitor specialising in trial advocacy and also represents our clients at police stations and general court appearances. He initially qualified as a barrister and was called to the bar as a member of Lincoln's Inn in 1998. He transferred to work as a solicitor in 2000 and has worked for numerous firms in London since then, practicing personal injury and employment law until specialising in criminal law since 2002.

He has been a freelance solicitor since 2005 and has represented clients across the spectrum of criminal law from shoplifting and domestic violence to armed robbery, rape and terrorism offences. He has been a duty solicitor since 2003 and joined the firm as a consultant solicitor in 2007.
