Sophia is a specialist immigration solicitor with over 10 years experience in immigration and asylum law. Sophia began her foray into immigration and asylum work as a volunteer at the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants. Her experience ranges from Points Based System applications, complex immigration matters, UK Citizenship, family based applications and matters involving citizens from the European Union.
In addition, Sophia has extensive advocacy experience particularly in cases involving Article 8 of the Human Rights Act (Right to Respect Family and Private Life) at the First Tier Tribunal and on points of law at the Upper Tribunal.
Sophia is also an accredited senior caseworker with the Immigration and Asylum Panel Accreditation Scheme at Level 2 (Senior) Caseworker.
